"We picked up our guide, Malcolm, at the Bus Stop!  He was an excellent guide, loads of information without going over the top and we had a superb day.  No-one quite knew what to expect but I would recommend this trip to anyone.  We first went to the gallops and it was amazing to see.  We spent some time there and Malcolm told us all about the training routine.  We then had a tour around Newmarket and I did not know the history of horse racing in that area.  What a place!  Again quite amazing to know that so many of the stable yards are in amongst what appear to be high class residential properties.  A great tour and we then went on to the Stable Yard where the owner walked us around and introduced us to all the horses in his care.  Again, a great experience.  We then got back on the coach and Malcolm took us all around and then got Nick to drive us right up to the stands at the Newmarket Track (cannot tell you what a good trip this all was) and we then went on to the National Stud where our buffet lunch was waiting for us."
